Hello! My name is Kelly Herring. I have lived in Fort Wayne, Ind for over 30 years. In addition to being the president and a board member of Generations Beyond, I work full-time as a Business Manager at L3Harris Technologies.
Over the past few years I have enjoyed watching my daughter, Mackenzie, grow in her spiritual walk, graduate from nursing school, and get married. We also have been able to grow together in our passion to serve children and young adults in missions to Ethiopia over the past 10 years.
My dream for Generations Beyond is for God to continue to bless us by bringing together the people who have a heart to serve and care for the people of Ethiopia, and to be led by the Lord to serve communities here and abroad.

Salem! My name is Mesfin Taye. I am a board member and Country Representative for Ethiopia for Generations Beyond. I was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and have lived here for the majority of my life. I currently work full-time for CURE International, Ethiopia as the Counseling Director.
Over the past five years I have been involved as a mission board member and coordinator for Rift Valley Global mission, which is a church-based ministry to reach unreached people groups in Ethiopia and neighboring countries. Ministry has been on my heart since I was 18, when God spoke to me, and I have since given my life over to full-time ministry.
My dreams for Generations Beyond is to see transformed communities through the gospel of Jesus Christ and developmental interventions, such as food, health, education, and training engagements. I believe Generations Beyond will bring transformation to Ethiopian communities by using multiple approaches of ministry in children, young people, and women.

Board Member
Hello! I am Deb Stam, a board member for Generations Beyond. I was born in Waukegan, Ill., but am currently living in Fort Wayne, Ind. I worked as the director of Leadership and Organizational Development in Parkview Health until my retirement in 2018.
The highlight of my last five years has been being able to serve children in Ethiopia as a missionary. God has directed me there where so many wonderful people and children helped me to accomplish His work for their communities.
My dreams for Generations Beyond is being able to serve the Lord and the wonderful people of Ethiopia and beyond however I am directed or needed. We are working hard to create a sustaining physical, economic and spiritual impact with the children and communities that we serve.
